Very sad to hear of Glyn passing away. A Leyther thro' and thro'. I grew up with him and became friends at school (St. Mary's) He was a neighbour over the last year .A nicer person you could not wish to meet. I will be thinking of Glyn each time I am on the North Stand, he will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

I am absolutely gutted at hearing this. I worked with Glyn and was Glyns Boss for quite a few years at Leigh Delivery Office. I wasn't aware he was unwell and i remember us both having a good few Beers travelling together by train watching Leigh beat HKR at Bloomfield Rd in 2006.

Remember Glyn from primary school days at XII Apostles, he was in the year above me. As seems to be happening more and more these days, somebody passes away who I knew long ago and had not had contact with for years - makes food for thought.

Very true Pat life's too short to put things off, was Glyn related to Mr Elmer the former janitor at Twelves? Glyns face was one of many I saw on a regular basis following our club
