| Its not 19/20 year olds I have a problem with its the first teamers returning or the here one week gone the next squad players
A lot of clubs will always look to put a team out as cheaply as possible, so there will be a demand as long as this system is in place

We're not dual reg with Leeds. The four players we have signed from Leeds are on a 1 year contract with us. They are being paid by us. They have signed contracts with Leeds from 2016. It a strange arrangement but one that suits both parties. All 4 are expected to break into Leeds first team in 2016 and 2 of them played superleague last season on loan to London.
We had an open day at Fev on Saturday and everything is rosy. we have a very good squad which will be competitive and much better than last season. Andy Kain can leave for me. he's been a fantastic player but past his best and probably a top earner. when your game is all about speed, then you start to get found out a bit with you lose it.
We currently have a squad of 34 players, we're just going about our business quietly without flip flop and robin at the club. Andy Hey and MC are confident with our squad that we can make the top 2, and that's their aim.
also when POR is finished, it will generate an income of £450k - £500k per year non rugby related revenue. Add this to the prize money on offer in the championship and we wont be skint again'"
I hope you come through the pain in good shape but £450-500k extra income is some going for a small place, unless there is £450-500k of costs that go with it

| Think the Ben Reynolds situation is down to some RFL rules, because he's come through Cas' academy they have to have 1st refusal on offering him a contract next year, they don't have to and he doesn't have to take it is what I think was said.
Glad to see Fev are back on their feet, now P&R is back the sport needs as many good strong clubs pushing the SL hangers on as possible.
Also glad they've decided against Dual code, needs scrapping next season for the farce of not knowing who you'll be playing each week, & that SL clubs can affect who gains promotion into SL, & that the whole point of the Qualifier Super 8 is to prove you're already better than the team that you're replacing, it's completely incompatible with the RL New Era Championship.
Seems an odd way of doing things with the Leeds players, rather than on a Season Long Loan, still presume there must be a reason; although if that reason is just to get around on loan quotas it's something The RFL need to look at the rules for in the future.

953.jpg 2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!:953.jpg |

| But it hasn't been scrapped, deals already announced between York and Cas plus I think Wire and North Wales

| I know DC is not popular but I was happy enough with it when we had to use it.
It will never be scrapped as long as the top clubs don't have a reserve league imo and also imo I feel it is short sighted that there isn't a Superleague reserve league which does nothing but harm to the pro game imo.(yeh I am opinionated).

Sorry, just meant glad Fev have scrapped it. Did the RFL finish their consultation on Dual Code for next season? I can almost let it go in League 1 but really in the Championship it needs to go, especially with the Super 8s arrangement.
