Well i think DB is absolutely spot on. If you think otherwise , then we might as well not bother with our goal of super league. your attitude is defeatist and that will get us nowhere. it's about time we start to think about what we have achieved so far and what's in store for the future, and i think Derek will take us to next level with the rest of the the board with PR as our coach and the rest of His staff. Have the faith, It will happen. I for one am supporting the club 100% with what we have done.

Not defeatist - just a realist. I am very, very proud of what has been achieved in the last 12/18 months and I also support the club 100%. I know what DB was trying to say but its those types of quotes that do us no favours. We have many of the ingredients to become a SL team but we have no divine right to be so...

I think that the comments from Shaun Wane, Kris Radlinski and Paul Prescott are needed. Granted it's a friendly, but it makes it much more marketable if both sides give the impression that this game intrests them. If it was Just Leigh doing all the hype, as it has been in the past IMO it gives us the look of a name dropping clinger on!
With regards to Dereks' comment, although we have a lot going in our favour, and the playing squad is amongst the best i've seen, i'd like us to achieve a good 5 years of solvency first. This would prove that what we are doing is sustainable. He's definately left himself open a la Calland, "Best team by a country mile".
