It just seems a bit strange that all the organising for the parade is enticing kids (via schools or sports clubs) who have probably never been to watch Leigh, which I'm not knocking for one minute and is a great initiative. But stalwart child season ticket holders are left to their own devices to try and get involved.

Well I thought it was great when all the kids were trying to put off the Worky goal kicking.

Very proud day yesterday to see so many youngsters in that stadium many in there club colours or community group uniforms and they along with our amazing past players made it a day I will never ever forget.

So many people worked so hard to make yesterday happen Jason Donahue should be a very proud man as also Mike Lathom.

Derek Beaumont, Allan Rowley, Amanda Lee, Jackie Mottershead, Hannah & Heather from the Trust who went the extra mile to make the day special.

Never ever been as proud to be a leyther.

I agree Andy , it looked to be well organised and added to the game Atmosphere,some folk don't realise what hard work and effort goes on behind the scenes at our Great Club , for me Jason Donohue has been a breath of fresh air to the Past Players , hope it continues .I will be giving you a ring sometime next week to let you know how the Boxing is progressing .Ian .

It was always gonna be a hard game Worky needed a point to be safe , we d already won the league and had players missing too.
We did enough to win and we've lost one game all season , fantastic
The kids really enjoyed it and I bet the players loved having fans cheering them at both ends
