Pleased to see it is not going to be a 1 season effort for next year, IMO next season is a massive step up for us, and not convinced we will be in a position to challenge the SL four that we get put up against. A full time experience and a bit more added quality for the season after may see us push to the next level and put up a challenge

That's my understanding too.

I think the club are being very careful to do it the right way. If we come top two we will enjoy a FT squad that should have every opportunity to reach the middle eight, if we struggled against the heavily financed SL clubs we still have the chance of hitting the play off game when anything could happen
If we had played a lower SL club in the CC quarters I think we would have beat them, so let's secure top two and enjoy the ride

I am not sure whether it has already been decided they way I describe but I reckon that could just be confirmation of the information. Nostrodamus' Lad seems to suggest that the club think that is they way it is too
