First up well done to the lads on such a good run, its a achievement in any league.......having said that the defeat has been coming for a few weeks so no shock as Donny are a decent team.
We do seem to run out of players come the business end of the season so would hope we are now looking at recalling the loan players to give us the strength in depth which having a big squad can deliver.
That said using losing your main play makers usually means you lose / struggle in a game regardless of opposition.
Can understand the talk of the top 2 being important but also hope we put on a show in the play offs as that will show potential players who we want to attract with the extra money we would get if we finish 1st/2nd that we are the real deal and equally as a fan its been a long time since we've had a shot at winning the GF.

Keighley came back v Town today so our lads need a disciplined focussed 80mins against a team that nearly beat us at the start of the season, we are capable if we stop giving away penalties and carry on playing the RL we are good at ..............the new run starts on Sunday.

I've just watched the game highlights, and although I know a defeat has been on the cards, how often do we concede the same try? The kick to pownalls' wing has happened twice in two weeks, the dart from acting half under the sticks has happened several times this season, and the easy overlap on our left has popped up quite often too. I don't expect flawless rugby, nor do I expect us to never concede, but it looks like a team has just watched the highlights of the week before and carried it out against us again. Gutted we lost our record, but very proud of our 'start'. Cut those frequent methods of concession out, hopefully the passes start to stick, and I'm sure some poor set of blighters will get bored of standing under the sticks.

Well Doncaster away was always going to be one of the hardest games of the season but with no half backs, didn't really look like we had much of a plan in attack at times, stood still looking for someone to pass to. Not quite sure why we messed the team about so much when Kay came to us as a half back and AJ was back to play on the wing but Rowley must know what he's doing. Doncaster were the better team, hopefully Riddy and Ryan will be back next week and that'll be our only defeat.

Don't know how to post pictures but on the Donny game thread there is a still picture of the 3rd try ( the kick ) which indicates he was infact onside at the point of contact. Live and moving pictures can be very deceiving it would seem.
