I can see where a lot of you are coming from but it sounds like you are trying to fix something that's broken. We are a part time club that has just given one of the big super league clubs the fright of there lives, when we go full time next year I see no problem for this team stepping up another gear. As this team stands now we are more professional than some of the clubs that are already in super league.

So a good Championship coach who fits 5 days coaching into three evenings need advice on time management? do me a favour that's where all the ex SL guys fall down on when they try and fit a pint into a half pint glass, when dealing with part time players.
Time and man management is something Paul Rowley and his coaching team needs no advice on their results speak for them selves.

I agree Fred, I think Paul and his team work wonders with the time they currently have. To 'time manage' a full time team would be a walk in the park.

I know what you're both saying, but it's time management at the opposite end of the scale to what we see now.

Of course, Paul's an innovative thinker and I think he can probably dream up more positive ways for players to work than could be fit in to a 50 hour week! We'll have no problems

The only additions to the coaching staff I can see will be specialist coaches coming in when needed e.g. Kicking etc.. Tommy Martyn did some sessions with the kickers early season and that seems to have paid off well.

For now I've been pretty impressed with the signing up of the talent we currently have.
Should we get the top 2 spot this year I suspect a sizable chunk of finance will also come our way (on top of increasing crowds) which will see a few more signings to top up the very capable squad we currently have.
