I seem to remember it being explained at a LISA meeting as more about recovery time from a game or injury, Part time don't really have the option of proper controlled recovery as most are back to work at the start of the week, that plus a more structured (possibly the wrong word) training/fitness plan.

It means that they don't have to train after maybe 40 hours work at another job. It can't be easy coming home from work and then having to do the hard hours at Leigh.

Usually they have a morning session consisting of re-hab, recovery or weights session followed by lunch prepared to a menu selected by a sports nutritionist. Afternoon session would consist of drills, ball work, prep for the coming game or video sessions then home for 3.00pm or they could cram it all in from early morning starting with breakfast and finishing after they have had lunch. All depends on the coaching timetable.

How would Leigh fans feel about Salford signing Brierley but loaning him back out to Leigh for another two years?

I'd wonder why Salford bothered to sign him in the first place. If I were a Salford fan I'd be even more perplexed.
