In todays world of FT professional player is not all about specific sports training, although the aim is obviously to improve the players/teams performance on the field, there's lots of other factors that effect it than simply running around with the ball, state of mind as well as body will improve performance.
As others have said they'll have rehab, physio, swimming, gym, biking, general player welfare nutrition, and education. team building sessions, community sessions. media training, match analysis of team, own and upcoming opponents performances, game plans, no doubt we do most if not all of this now but when FT more time can be spent on each.
Start around 9 and usually finish around 2:30.
In other words they do naff all.
