the way i saw both sin bin incidents was that the fax player in both cases was the instigator and both ours were for retaliation. I had no idea how he mixed acton and emmitt up at the time and still have no clue how he managed it

if you watch sam's he made a great tackle then something went on as they go down and sam clearly throws a punch in, you could see that from the east stand as well.

Tonks was the the main culprit in the second but the ref was trying to calm the game down a bit at that stage.

No complaints at one each being binned just a shame he got the wrong man with acton.

Both those incidents were vital though as fax were well on top at that stage and then stopped playing rugby and never really recovered.

and send off sufficient i suspect for sam on the second one, depends on what the officials put in their reports, he let them get to him and it sort of worked but not quite the outcome the fax boys had hoped in the end

A good enough team takes a bad ref out the equation. Against Rochdale in the cup I would argue at least 3 of there tries should have been disallowed for one infringement or the other. They weren't but leigh did enough anyway. If Halifax were good enough on the day they would have won, they didn't.

Its all there on the video. 3 tries that should have been disallowed makes quite a big difference.

Dont make the mistake of thinking our players didnt get some of the blame for losing, its just that that happened behind closed doors.

From where I stood Faxs first try looked like he didn't ground it but the ref gave it so it's a try as was all the others scored by us or them!!!!!!!!!!
