What do we have to do to get a ref who is even handed and allows fans to watch RL?

The opposition will always say the same so refs are probably even handed, as to the ref allowing you to watch a game of RL that is what you did. It is impossible to have an error free game from both players and referees. Referees are impartial, fans are not.

We can't play without a ref, but they control how the game is allowed to flow - We can be entertained by a short 10m or a fast open game, but they must be consistent and even with my cherry tinted spex that was something he certainly wasn't

With all due respect for all parties the game is now on LC TV so people can make up their own minds.

Was not aimed at any person hence my 'due respect' in the post I just hadn't had chance to advertise it before this so took it.

Personally I thought we were lucky to get away with McNally's try from an inside ball that at the time looked more than a shade forward. I was waiting for it to be chalked off. Then again my sight just isn't what it used to be.
