Quote: Nostradamus's lad "The importance of behaving oneself after a few beers is the message here, the temptation to accept or justify the unacceptable will always come from those with no respect for their fellow fans
When one of a group is incapable of taking his ale and is overstepping the mark then it is the responsibility of his friends to pull him in to avoid spoiling it for the majority not stick up for him
It seems 10% of the Fev support let the 90% down but that will always be the case unless those within that 10% deal with it when it starts'"
Absolutely right NL. Leyth/Fev/whoever - if they can't handle their ale or can't stay out of trouble when they have a drink they should stay off it. And I agree its up to the mates to stop them getting in that state in the first place rather than being there to help them out in the fracas if it all kicks off. I can't subscribe to Jimmy's way of thinking that it comes down to civil liberties of the troublemakers and their legal right to have a drink, or that if you call it a one-off its somehow less unacceptable.
