It will be a great read as usual Alan, it won't be bettered and when it is gone perhaps others will appreciate how good it is/was.

As another person that at one time held the editors pen, I know the stresses, strains and at times thankless time spent on producing content. As I have said elsewhere Alan, you have at times worked a miracle in recent seasons. You have my total respect. My thanks to you and I wish you all the best.

I know that 'people' (whoever you may be referring to) did appreciate it. I've never been confident (arrogant?) enough to think it can't be improved on. Somehow, I think it probably will be!

Thanks Dave. Times have obviously moved on since your day - I replaced the pen with one of those computer thingys! Also, I would like to point out that the basis for the programme I've used, was what you spent so much time and effort setting up, in your time in the hot seat. Total respect to you too.

By the way, the purpose of my post on here wasn't to elicit loads of praise - nice as it is!
