This BOM are fans like everyone else only difference is we are all committing many hours per week of professional time and services free of charge to the club and tens upon tens of thousands of pounds from our own pockets to try and deliver the vision and goal of SL. I can tell you now when we get reactions like this thread as thanks for our efforts its really encouraging to keep being a fool and throwing time and money at it.

Not to go over old ground but some people seem to have very short memories as just four months ago we had a club that was effectively bust not paying wages and carrying massive amounts of debt with no real ambition, future and no real visible or realistic achievable goal of SL surviving day to day and reliant upon hand outs.

As I openly told the people who bothered to come along and thank and attend to thank the players and staff at the awards night we had a press issue which meant we had to react to a situation and change our plans at the eleventh hour and people jump all over it like this.

If Tom Spencer a Super League prop who is a full time pro in the prime of his life and turned down SL clubs to join our club and Tom Armstrong who four months ago wouldn't have even considered leaving Sheffield back to back champions for Leigh Centurions isn't good enough news in a 24 hour period with at least three/ four more to come in the next few weeks and months then god help us.

We are extremely sorry for trying to market an event and cover the costs of putting on an awards night for our team and coaching staff Andy I am amazed at the response from some posters about Toms signing , I really do despair . I for one am delighted and see no reason to start jumping on the boards back for not delivering the golden fleece !!!! I appreciate everything you are doing and can't thank you enough .

L.I.S.A are a crucial part of Leigh centurions the board & us fans know that & I think I speak for everyone that we'd be deeply saddened if you stepped down Lynda you're doing a great job eusa_clap.gif
I don't know Steve Pike but I know & think of him as a knowledgeable & experienced man who could play a part in taking 'our' club forward. I hope I'm not stepping over the line here Starbug but 'our' club needs you & from reading you're posts I know you don't buy into the 'Beleigh've slogan so pardon the pun but we're in this together.
