Teams usually adapt to the conditions and fans adjust their expectations as to what sort of game they will witness. Irrespective of conditions they want to see commitment, endeavour, tactics ,innovation and ideas. What they don't want is to be bored to death, when the fans know what is coming next it stands to reason the the opposition will know as well.
