I'd hope our club with all the positive noises and signs coming out of it will also quietly drop a DR agreement that was exceptionally controversial when implemented.

I can understand why this is a difficult one for the board, I expect they will want to end the agreement and quietly brush it under the carpet but it is important to do it on good terms. Whilst the headline "Rowley tells Wane where to shove it" may generate cheers on the terraces it wouldn't go down well with Wigan Rugby and like it or not it is important to mantain strong relationships with other clubs, especially those nearby.

I hate DR system as much as everyone else but we can only resign from using them if our attendances increase & if the loan system is as straight forward as being able to draft players in from any SL club if needed & quickly. Rowley wants a bigger squad but it depends on whats affordable/sustainable for our club so the question is do enough people care about Leigh Centurions to start turning up? Start showing it on Sunday in attending & onwards please & I'm sure Andy will tell you that the use DR's would be dropped no doubt with better attendances at the LSV.

Fully agreed Keith, plenty of other RL players to use other than Sooper Dooper League "squad players/one's lacking match fitness"

If a 'championship' club would like to get a SL player (from any club) on loan, for maybe 1 month, then fine. RFL limit clubs (apart from Sheffield) to a maximum of 1 overseas player (is it ?), the same should apply to SL loanees, no more than 2 in one matchday squad.

It isnt a ' given ' that everybody should go to watch the rugby, it is an entertainment business first and foremost, provide entertaiment in an exciting enviroment and work from there
