I don't care what we are called, Centurions, Phoenix, Comics, Bears, .......
This is the best chance we've had in many a year thanks to the fans who have stepped up as the BOM, and the loyal volunteers who give so much of their precious time and effort. Link that with the up coming structure change in the RFL league setup and NOW is the time. And I do mean NOW, not 2014 or 2015. A small show of faith (or a little more faith for those of us that already contribute some and can afford a little more) is most likely to give us what we all want in the near future. It may not but I'm willing to take that chance.

Thanks for that Paul, yes we (me and our Dave) do give a lot of time but it's because we actually care for the club, it wouldn't matter to me if Ghengis Kahn was the Chairman (though saying that have you seen that John Roddy when he hasn't shaved!!!!) or Pol Pot was the coach or if we were twinned with Hades Rovers. Leigh RFC is my club and will always be my club, yes I stayed away once for one game but I was so glued to the radio trying to get an update it drove me bloody mad, I'm just glad to put something back into a club that has given me so much pleasure - hold on should that be pain - over the years, that for me pride when stopping away doesn't count one bean, I want my club to be there for the future generations and falling out with a Rugby Club because of pride says just one thing, your selfish, as your pride could destroy or certainly help to destroy something that most of us love, especially when people hide behind a stupid reason to hide their pride (or try to hide it).
Plus if we didn't enjoy doing it we wouldn't do it but would certainly never consider staying away because of an old fashioned out of date reason of being linked with Wigan - and yes I don't like it also but it is purely a business decision full stop.
