Not always the case! As those of us who attended the 2006 final will attest to!! Leigh were expected to get a right tatering off the all conquering HKR, after apparently imploding part way through a season that had started with so much promise, and went to Blackpool as major underdogs.....with a vocal, if massively outnumbered support of no more than a couple of thousand!! Luckily our team hadn't read the script!!

I must admit this has shocked Charlie , as I thought the Fairweathers would have their tickets by now , maybe waiting for week-end ,when you think about how many Leigh fans went to Donny , or how many are going to Barrow on Sunday , maybe 700 tickets sold is not that bad .
