A sensible move to attract more supporters. Doncaster, whilst still a no smoking stadium, have agreed to let supporters go outside the ground at halftime for a cigarette.

Funny - I'm a smoker, but since we moved to the Sports Village it has never bothered me that it's a no smoking venue (or indeed any ground were same rules apply). I tend to have one just before we go in....and that 'sees me on' for the couple of hours max that we are inside the ground.....then I spark up again as soon as we are back out!!

If anyone 'needs' a fag more often, then why not uses patches or gum, or get one of them e-ciggie things?? I can't imagine a 'smokers corner' outside the ground, that can be utilised by those inside, is the missing piece of the jigsaw that is gonna double our crowds!!

There was someone actually smoking in the north stand the other week and yes it was a real one the smoke kept wafting over !

Varies from ground to ground and depends on how the place is set up, but the vast, vast majority is no.

No you can’t nip out, but you experience very foggy toilets at those grounds, well done to the LSV stewards for ensuring it’s not the same at LSV.

Being a non-smoker I’m amazed how some sleep, work or fly if they can’t go two hours without a fag.
