I'm selling the picture which was made after the Leigh side of '71 won the Challenge cup. It's the huge picture which was once in the Leigh Arms and is now in The Avenue. I'm led to believe three were made, one is so called in Blackpool one is with me and the other is unknown.
I don't want to sell the picture but where the picture is will be being used for other things and due to the size it won't fit anywhere else. P.M any genuine offers (I have had a four figure offer already but that was from out of town from a personal collector) it would be nice to keep it local to Leigh.
Maybe with the money they get for it (no chance of them donating it) with the proceeds, they could actually clean the pub, or even put some 'disinfectant cubes' in the urinals. It's a stinking pub, that has lots of $hit tribute bands on. The lager is awful, sometimes 'dirty glasses'....apart from that, the pub is fine !!
