Wysiwyg has been watching Leigh home and away for around 50 years and in the past has offered sponsorship to the club.

Unforunately, like many others including myself do not want to fund anything to do with a partnership with Wigan (or any other club).

I've no doubt Wysiwyg will go watching again as soon as this partnership is over.

A large number of fans have already become alienated by this partnership so it doesnt really help for a board member to claim a fan is "spouting poop".

if i couldn't be d watching a team, i wouldn't go posting on the teams forum/message board...simple.

I dont think its the fact he cant be d going, its more the fact that he doesnt want to fund a partnership.

Unfortunately some fans feel alienated by this partnership and view like yours are very small minded and will only alienate fans even more.

I remember driving onto moors to put up and drop off Graham when his companies has sponsored coaches so Graham is a fan.
All fans whomdont like dual regs sign up to lisa or touchdown v
Club .
More money that the club gets independently less dual regs we will see.

The most worrying part of your post is not the ' small minded ' part, it is the 1500 part

Why people should feel alienated by something that is of benefit to our club are seriously in need of understanding the situation but as various people have tried to explain, it would appear that some do not want to listen especially as it's like beating ones head against a brick wall. A lot are against it (me included) but are still supporting the club, as for 'funding it' well that really does beggar belief and is in all honesty laughable as the only 'winners' are us.

Not when you only find out at the last minute which player your getting....how can you have a structure and a gameplan when it could be any one of a dozen or more players.

Once again, lets be clear, you cannot tell somebody how to feel, only actions or a change of circumstances will do that, so then its a case of should this independant MB have rules against ' negativity ' ?

The other question is replying to this negativity in a ' negative ' way a good thing?

Many see non attendance as a ' black and white ' issue when in truth like the novel it is probably many shades of grey , so I'd say either humour or ignore is the best policy in dealing with it

your obvious misunderstanding of the structure of a team does you no credit, the reason you gave is the reason why we do not have any pivotal or 'general' type players on dual contracts nor does our head coach want this type of player as yes it could disrupt our style of play.

'Feelings' are often brought about by a persons ignorance or refusal to understand a particular thing that is either down to lack of information (not relevant in this case as the clubs policy on dual contracts has been explained) or being sheer bloody minded by refusing to accept the explanation or by not understanding the stance of in this case Leigh Centurions on the subject, so why bring up the topic of 'independent message board' or 'negativity'? when neither appears relevant, a persons refusal to do anything is that persons business but by 'outing' that reason on a public forum 'asks' for it to be replied to, so should free speech also be banned on an independent or in fact any public forum because it may get a response from someone with a different viewpoint?
