I too think the original post is very valid and honest. The most important part of it being the bit that maybe it will provide some ''food for thought'' for the new BoM. We all know that some of them read this forum and if only 1 of the points is taken onboard and adressed by the BoM it may attract some lapsed fans back.

Totally agree with the guy most of my gripes are what he states,like I said in previous posts

Stick a line in the sand and say from next year we will have no twinning or dual,season long loans no problem as that as happens for 100 year.

He is a bit of food for thought,how many customers does a retail shop have to attract to replace 1 loyal customer who as gone else were?????

Now with the look of things next season should be easy to get us back

Re introduction of promotion and relegation the coming year coupled with sensible season ticket prices/booklet and the ripping up of twining arrangement duals!

Thank you for your honest and frank reasons as to why you no longer watch the club. This is the kind of feedback we need to know and we will take it on board rest assured.

We can't resolve everything overnight but rest assured your concerns and indeed everyone elses will be addressed ASAP. In the meantime if you wish to pm me I'd lke to offer you the chance to come to meet the team to see what we are about honest and genuine Leigh fans who want to make this a community fans club. I'd personally lke to demonstrate to you it's not empty words and we will listen and learn from constructive critism.

Back to the original post, there is NO way I could stop watching Leyth Centurions.
Since the RFL introduced licensing, I hardly ever go to away games (1 or 2 a season) BUT if Leigh are playing at home, I would only miss a home game 'if I was abroad'. Find it quite irritating when folk 'make a big deal' about why they don't go watching THEIR club anymore...just admit it "I can't be d/I'm skint"

If they were near top of SL, he'd be loving them again.

Some good points made that I'm sure the new BOM could use for factoring in how to get people back , whilst they can't change all of them the way people view the club and how it sets its its goals and ambitions can change and its that we could slowly start to see gains on.
I thought the OP made some valid points that I'm sure will be of value to the new team.

Personally, I don't see why efforts should be aimed at getting people back, the targets should be new people to be attracted and kept. The fair weather ,lapsed fans would soon be lapsed again if things didn't come up to their expectations.

I agree there, eventually they may come back but it's new blood we need, there's a missing generation of fans out there and we need to find a way of getting them through the turnstyles
