Quote: Harold Rigby Jnr "As much as I would like to see young Wardy given a chance, I do feel he is still learning his craft and just IMO this opportunity may have come just a little to soon in his development.
The lad does have bags of potential but is still only 17/18 years of age I believe and I say all this even with AJM's philosophy in mind of if you are good enough, then you are old enough.'"
I think we could afford to give him a go H .
Though he's only 17 I think he's served half his apprenticeship already , with the Miners as a 16 year old in the NCL and had a game last season in the Toulouse friendly , and in the U20's and against some U23's teams too this season and not looked out of place , so as the lad fancies a go I say lets use this chance to see how he's progressing .
As long as we have a plan B we should be alright .
