Like Alexs Dad has said, 15k doesnt touch the sides especially if it was also covering a deficit of moneys already spent. If this is true regarding the non payment of players, then surely this needs to be the straw that breaks the camels back with regards to the future of the club. Some very important decisions need to be taken with regards to the short and long term future of the club. Its times like this when everybody needs to be pulling in the same direction and working together to secure the future of this great club!

I'll be getting behind the lads but the way this club is run is a joke. This will inevitably lead to fans including myself pishing money down the drain trying to pull our club out of the mire again

I'd recommend calm and patience (I know it's easier said than done) while the correct channels and procedures are now followed.

I've spoken to the Rob Parker via text today and the lads are focused and want to go out and play for us the fans and the shirt we need to sing louder than ever and show them how much we care.

Well, even though i have my moments bagging players i think are not up to championship level, EVERY player who laces up the boots, and makes the sacrifices should be paid, no matter what...that should be the first bill settled, no question.

It won't it has to and will change.

Money can't go into propping up historic debt forever time for new people, new Ideas and a proper structured professional club.

I think so, due to breach of contract on the club's part, but I'm not 100% sure. They definitely become free agents if/when the club goes in to administration.

I'm not sure of the contractual issues but in essence any player who manges to get a contract elsewhere or chooses to leave would be doing the club a favour wouldn't they?

Surely major costs need to be slashed now and is there any other avenue than players wages?

I think this was always on the cards the begging bowl can only go round so many times, it may be the catalyst to break from the old and start a fresh with the right people and major fan involvement hopefully.

Maybe the "partner" club can bail 'em out!

Fred its not a dig at you or anyone associated with CTV but it has cost money, money from sponsors/fans that could have gone elsewhere but more importantly they must have known the bomb was coming to the end of its fuse and all efforts should have been focussed there, did they tell you as you were putting money and effort into it what was about to happen?? Also I still have nightmares about somebody announcing something at a public forum that wasn't sealed indeed the interested party had not even visited the club and linking me with it, but that has become par for the course imo - say owt to appease policy

This is depressing, what happened to making the club self sufficient after Arthur stepped down?

I realise attendances are down on what was predicted but I think the predicted figures where badly thought out given the fact prices where going up and attendances had fallen away a little towards the end of last season. Anyone with an ounce of business sense knows that you leave yourself some leeway when budgeting but it seems at Leigh we just don't bother.

I couldn't make the Batley game today but I'll always support my club when and how I can that's a given. I wasn't in favour if the move from HP to begin with and as time goes on it looks like the loss of revenue streams we had there is beginning to cost us big time. HP could have been rennovated bit by bit with grants etc. It does make me wonder how much we're paying LSV to be their main tennant.
