It's the usual suspects that I worry about. Hope some of them are able to give the club a chance rather than assuming the worst. We can't let our club, with all it's history, die over this.

Well this club gets by full backing because I don't really want to run the club. All I want is us to win and play good rugby doing it. When the position on the board was released I was against it because fans really shoudn't be there. The take over wannabe's showed their hands imediately then. Our fans forum is as much as we should get and I applaud it even happening. It's a very sad person who isn't happy with their lot. Is ambition greed or is greed ambition? The old Tory legacy really has taken over this country. No compasion, no humility, no common sense, no moral standards, more Gordon Gecko.

In terms of what was sais all those comments and sound bites are great but essentially they answer nothing (not even why he personally has changed his opinion so quick between January and March) , heck even the last fans forum negotiations must have been fairly advanced and yet still he said we won't go into partnership, on the interview he's now turned into 'we won't go as a feeder', what will it be next year 'I never said we wouldn't play Wigans first teamers'.

I appreciate and respect my view will differ and its pointless going over old ground but seriously I'd urge anyone to really think what this means as these are the words of the CEO of Leigh Centurions yet sound more like the words of the CEO of WMBC.

Your conclusion is conjecture, as well as being at odds with the stated moral standpoint of Trevor and the club. I've known Trevor, from a distance, for a long time and I have never known him deviate on his beliefs for the development of the game, what he has said fits well with what I have always known him to believe.

Since when did Trevor Bartons moral standpoint become the moral standpoint of Leigh Centurions? When did he buy out the shareholders?

He clearly deviated on his beliefs here but I suppose we'll never know why.

It doesn't have to be the same, but it is. If the BoD believe in Trevor's vision then it will be adopted. They clearly do.

The situation changed. Positions were reconsidered as a result and the concept of a partnership with a limiting agreement was explored.

Sounds fair to me.

And thus the situation could change again, positions perhaps reconsidered ?
Thus with the ways things can change without consultation you could end up with a established SL player coming back from injury getting game time for Leigh Centurions.
Of course that would be 'conjecture' on my part and I wouldn't like to be accused of that.
