simpsons/PDT13.gif Brad Fitler "If the ref's decision decides your game. You haven't done enough prior."
Referees are like women, they make snap decisions and never reverse them.
Littlerich wrote Widnes will be glad to get away from Leigh. They've been regularly pumped, roasted and left in the alley-way by the lobbygobblers. Talk about being bitched - what a torrid time they've had. They'll be looking for some A&E rest time for the next three years at least.:simpsons/PDT13.gif |

It's a bit damp up here as well. WBH 2nd's game was called off last night due to waterlogged pitch. Have safe journey up and good luck. I'll be at Flimby v Egremont A

| Egremont Rangers 36 v 6 Leigh Miners
Leigh Miners suffered their first defeat of 2013 yesterday afternoon going down 36-6 in the mud against a clinical Egremont Rangers side. With Miners opting to play up the hill in the first half it was them who started the game the brighter controlling the field position keeping the home side pinned down in their own half but with ball in hand they was unable to turn pressure into points as Egremont defended their line well. After soaking up the pressure the home side where marched down field with a number of penalties, with Egremont attacking the miners line they were rewarded another penalty and from a quick tap they dived over to score to take a 6-0 lead. They increased their lead soon after when miners turned the ball over inside their own half, Egremont taking full advantage to score their second try and lead the game 12-0. With the home side full of confidence from going in front they played some good attacking rugby on the edges in the bad conditions going down the hill and from that they scored two more tries before the interval to take a commanding 22-0 lead into half time.
Miners got themselves on the scoreboard after the break when young winger Ryan Monaghan went over in the corner, Jonny Youds converting off the touch line to give the score 22-6. Miners did have chances to get back into the game but weren't smart enough in there plays to cause Egremont any more problems. The home side increased their lead with a penalty goal before scoring two tries late on to wrap up a 36-6 victory to keep them at the top of the NCL Premier Division.
Next week Miners are at home to Ince Rose Bridge.
