Does the club know who it's customers are? Isn't this a vital piece of information when trying to get the missing 400 back? Maybe it knows season ticket holders but does it know people who pay on the gate? If it knew, then it could target these people with some direct marketing.

They could get this information by running a small competition when they buy a ticket to get their names / address / email address etc.

We should all send a text and email to everyone in our address books inviting people to the game tomorrow. Might drag a few along and with a bit of luck find some lost fans and new fans permenantly.

How about a couple of bucket collections this season by the u20s players to help pay for themselves?.

Just saw the owner of the snack a jack butty shop in Lowton and she said she's 'fallen out with the club and hasn't been for 2 years'. She used to go every week.
I asked why and she didn't answer.

That's a fair point - I was in Tesco in St Helen's last weekend and their under 18's were doing exactly that by helping packing bags.

I was thinking that a simple "like" on Facebook or retweet on Twitter would also do the trick to spread the word. However a match hasn't been announced on the Facebook fan page since Swinton on the 2nd Sept last year.

To answer the advertising Question ?Yes there is very big Ad Board on Atherleigh Way , announcing all up-and coming games at the LSV ,the Posters for Shops and Pub windows will be back very soon , along with Reporter and Journal messages , there is a Lottery Club van driving round Leigh and District advertising the next home game , and as has been said Parky Pig attending everywhere , we are only short of a Barrage Balloon

It was mentioned about drinks and food prices , well the LSV with Legends bar , have dropped their drinks prices , done special offers of 4 pint jugs , and the food prices are very resonable now and the food is good , but how many have tried them ?

We are now at a point where the Board dont hide anything , they are very open about things , and tell the fans as it is , Rob Parker said he was going to try to get the players more involved in the Match day expeience , they are leaving very little to chance in trying to make things better ,we will never live in a Perfect world , some will always gripe , that was proved last night , but the effort is there , the Club , are doing their best , the only other Solution is PRESS GANGS
