Maybe I am wrong but it was I think the season before we left Hilton Park so 2008.

Correct, it was to be the 1 st of another 3/4 planned from various Era's, we had spoken to Woody who had agreed to attend the next one, the club then stepped in and had their own ' Do ' ,it was originally from an idea myself and Lynda had witnessed at Fax , with Mark Preston,Karl Harrison and John Fieldhouse, which was comered by a ref, organised by Linda ( Johnny Freemans Fan Club )

Got many good memories of Chissy, I remember that side-step of his putting a full-back on his as he scampered to the line. RIP Chissy, you will be missed. Sincere condolences to his family.

Great prop and one of the fastest, if not THE fastest in the game at that time. Was great player in the loose as well. Great rugby league family, together with brothers Eric and Les, who, I seem to remember, all played for Leigh at some time in their careers.

RIP Dave, and thanks for the memories.
