John , you have me misunderstood , im definately NOT in my Element as you put it about this Twinning malarkey , im just fed up with it , in no way will aLeigh twin with Wigan , IT WONT HAPPEN ,you know me well enough by now , im a Leyther through and through , but im NOT a Wigan hater , my wife is a Wiganer ,yourself along with the rest of us cheered on Tom Spencer , Matty Russell , and others from Wigan this season , i think the D-Rs are a good thing , but TWINNING ?It wont happen at Leigh , lets stop the worry and look forward to a good season next year .

Good Afternoon CL ,you ask me to explain who i regard as a "True Leyther ", well for me its like being a "True Cockney ", born within the sound of Bow Bells , a True Leyther was born in Leigh , that makes them rare these days

as most are now born in Wigan

very IRONIC dont you think ?I was born at the Firs Maternity Home , making me Born and Bred in Leigh , im no better than anyone else though , just a Leyther .

Other than that plenty are still "True Leythers ", to me even when not Born in Leigh , im not sure what you mean by "You dont me so does that make me not a True Leyther ", you can live in Wigan , Blackpool , the Moon , even Cumbria and be a True Leyther .

Charlie I fit your criteria of a True Leyther, born and bred etc, and have spent most of my working life in Wigan, and despite my name haven’t really got an axe to grind with them.

The issue isn’t with them its how independent is my club?

Charlie i was born and bred in bedford watched Leigh from the age of 4 with my dad, im now in my early fiftys. Lived in Cumbria for ten years but still get to watch Leigh when i can work commitments. So i feel im a true Leyther as you put it, or is Bedford out of the true Leyther zone, we need to bring supporters in from fare and wide you wont attract new supporters with that attitude. Thats my opinion.

What Attitude ?As i have said you can live on the moon and be a Leyther ,ive lived over Butts Bridge for nearly 50 years now , again i never said you werent a True Leyther , you asked me my opinion i answered you ,i dont think True Leythers would also like to see our Great Club in trouble , but i do feel one or 2 on here delight in this .
