nah come on RFF , it was lost in the first half ! they played 60 minutes good stuff like at POR and that was not enough ! when they stopped trying to plough up the middle and spread it a bit they made strides.

No excuses in my book.

Bad first half by Leigh,poor tackling,shocking attempted off loads,miss placed passes and just a lack of intensity.

Much better second half,yes,decisions went against us at crucial times,when we were desperate ,shouldn't have got
to that stage though.
Great effort by the lads though,disappointing in the end,but a great season overhaul .

Agreed. Good luck to Sheffield in the final. Could be interesting - fev haven't beaten them this season!

We weren't at our best tonight by a long way. But again there were some baffling refereeing decisions that went against us. Do the rules change for the play offs?

Shame that because they are a cracking rugby team,anyhow we sold over a 1000 in one day through the club and reports in locla press suggest in excess of 60 coaches booked already..

No its the same level of incompetent reffing that we see all season in the championship,it just hurts that bit more when there is so much at stake..

Cracking season though well done

Nowhere near as bad as the cheating last week. However, the game lasts 80 mins and with about 4-5 mins left it was 4 tries each and could have gone either way. Crucial calls went their way. They were hanging on. Don't think it was meant to be tonight. We botched several simple chances in the first half, that ultimately cost us. Sheffield are a good side and came here with a lot of confidence. Leigh seemed to lack composure in that first half. However, as I said, the game lasts 80 and had we been attacking their line with a minute to go, we could well have been in. Ifs and buts now, but we've had a great season anyway. Well done leigh !

Correct cushler,bad decisions in every game,but when its a big game and your getting desperate you notice it more,and when your getting frustrated
you dont think,and see thinks as clearly as you normally do.

Hope we don't make the play-off next season, it's 8 years now since we won one of these games.
Or if we do, 3rd at home to 6th, might not be Sheffield then. Sick of them coming to our ground with 60 fans, and then outplaying us. When we are losing to this lot, it's silence as we're depressed, and you can't hear them anyway.
