Whilst we are discussing factually incorrect statements, the following is also incorrect in 'The chairmans statement'

If we finish second, we will not have any home play off tie at all if we win the qualifying play off away at the league leaders

Well I do not like to take issue with you Harold' not least because I almost always agree with fellow Leythers but the Chairman's statement is factually correct as he used the word almost.

I would have preferred his statement to have said provided we win our last 3 games we will be second. Then it will be off to Featherstone for an easy win and our final game will be the Grand Final.
