The top 8 play off was worth trying but clearly it doesn't work IMO. The first clue was the first season they did it and 8th placed Catalan lost more games than they won.
Should go back to top 6, exactly like we do it. I still don't understand the top 8 format.

You mention the super league on here more than we do on our site, your not in it so get over it, the lower leagues are destined to become feeder clubs, either that or there will be an even bigger divide between the leagues, more than there is now. Oh and finally, chris Hill is still a wiganer

....and so it begins. I seem to remember someone mentioning this last week. So Leeds will send players to them, no doubt players from the soon to be scrapped SL academy age group.

How will this affect the Championships?

I think it is a bad move.

Next season we won't be playing Hunslet Hawks we'll be playing Leeds Reserves Hawks.

It's York I feel sorry for they will be at the beck and call of the biggest club in the world.

Derek ,i dont think Leigh will become a feeder Club , the Directors and PR , will only allow whats best for us .
Also my brother-in -law was a guest in my Birthday box for the Fax game , he coaches St Judes u18s team ,and after looking at the feature on our u18s team in the programme , commented that St Judes u18s would beat our team easily .

In the future i would prefer seeing young Wiganers in our team , than ageing or ex-Wiganers in our team ,for me once they put on a Leigh shirt they are Leythers , my brother-in-law has coached and rates Craig Briscoe very highly ,Wigan have some very talented youngsters ,one to watch is Lewis Tierney ,my tip for the top in about 5-6 years time , maybe in a Leigh shirt before that .

We must realise in todays economic climate , we cannot sustain a reserve grade team , hopefully in the future this may change , but until it does , DCs will be at Leigh.

But we are running a reserve grade next season aren't we.

Will it be a fair league when half the clubs are playing the next generation of SL players supplied to them by super league clubs.
