Well done to all involved what you have done in the time frame is great, I for one look forward to the complete site, and for all those that are knocking it do you know how much development goes into a brand new website? I would suggest with some comments the answer is NO, so until you do shut up.

I must be missing something, I think most have been complementary in fact I’ve not really seen anyone knocking it, someone pointed out a spelling mistake and some others have questioned when the links etc will be up and running, valid questions and comments IMO, and likewise understandable that these things take time to introduce.

In the past I’ve raised issues with the previous site not being kept up to date, as for me the official website should be leading the way, and I’m really please that this new site is off to a flyer with the breaking news/SL announcement, well done for keeping it under wraps, keep up the good work.

Some dates for your diarys regarding the updates / coming soon features just to manage everyones expectations hopefully



Like some have mentioned it takes a lot of time and effort to get a website of this standard on a £0 budget and we have gone for quality rather than rushing things through. The site should be fully complete including new features over the next 4 weeks.

What's a Landing Page?

Blimey glow, I thought I was technologically illiterate.

It's one that you access the site through, when you get to the top of the stairs, innit? Or, when your flight reaches its destination. Honestly some folk!

It's the thing that gets in your way when you just want to get the web site.

(Can you tell that I am not a fan of landing pages?)

Its the first page you see before going to the main site

it has fixtures, latest news and links and then enter main site

Me neither, just an extra useless click (in my opinion of course).

Apart from that I think the new website looks great and will rival any SL club website when it's fully functional. I've said it before but I'll say it again - well done lads.
