Its a super league ruling,depending on how long you have been at the club, you can't just walk away before the age of 21,or might be 22 .

Ryan has been there since he was 16,if they offer him a lesser contract he can walk,but they are not going to do that.

Why dont the club buy his contract?
Then if a big bucks offer comes in from super league they put a clause in his contract for £20,000+, win win situation.
Or let the fans buy it. I would put £50 in, have we got another 399 pledgers
