I had two reasons why I was not easy with making Paul our coach. firstly was that I really did'nt want him to fail with us again. I know it wasn't Pauls team but neither is this, 100%. I really did'nt want one of Leighs best becoming a leper. Secondly I thought that we should have had the best coach that was available for the money we had. If it was Paul then fine butif a better coach was available then we should have gone for them. After the friendlies my worries were gone and I can say that the club made the best possible apointment for the money we had in Paul Rowley. This season is by far and away better than anything I was expecting after the mess we were in. I also think that with this team and the coaching staff we will have a great season with a piece of silverware.
