As for McNally's disallowed effort, the touch judges weren't happy with it either, so we have to assume the officials got it right.
And finally, on the topic of forward passes, he's not the only ref to let them go, but remember, Leeds had a late try disallowed for one and, if you check back on McNally's disallowed effort, I think there were two of them in the move that put him through.
I'm happy with the ref that let's the game flow and the players seem to prefer that too.
