I wondered why Andy Burnham had been appointed vice president of Leigh Centurions?
A quote from Richard Short, who stood as the Tory party's candidate for Leigh in 2010
"As for the Leigh Sports Village, the facilities are excellent, the opportunities are boundless but it left a debt of almost £373,000 last year, up 6% on the year before. The costs of failing to manage the accounts on this scale is under-written by us the Council Tax payer so it needs to be urgently addressed and I call on Mr Burnham to support a review of how LSV is managed to make it the success it deserves to be."
Not just Leigh Centurions in financial trouble, difference is we don't have the tax payer to bail us out, no white knight just the hard hit supporter and LISA!
