Fantastic performance, especially the second half when they were battered by the ref and Manly through everything at them - I thought they would be swamped during those 25 mins, unbelievable defence and character - Rourkes Driftesque
Good effort from Leeds. Would like to see the day when this game is given a fair chance by the Aussies. It is still used as a tough pre-season game by Aussie teams whereas the SL teams see it as a big game. No real coverage of it in Aus and not taken seriously by the fans over there. It would be good to see it mid-season when both teams are up to speed and it is not weighed heavily in favour of SL teams. Alternating each year between Australia and England.

I thought Leeds were going to get smashed after watching the first 15mins. Manly really came out to bully them with some big hits. Is it me that seems to see the Aussies get away with stuff in the ruck that Leeds weren't. It looked like Kevin Sinfield was starting to get a bit frustrated with Ashley Klein but proved his class and professionalism by not biting. Personally thought Rob Burrow was MOM. Like JC said a fantastic game to watch. One more thing about the Aussies treating it as a tough pre season game. I sort of agree with this now as one of the commentators last night said that it is them who decide when this game is played. Well done Leeds.
