The club are trialling it in the centurion and may look into spreading it to other places if all goes well

Myself and a few of our lot are going in there if so, means we can have a beer and not have to worry about queues before kick off for the non season ticket holders.

The sale of concession tickets to non concession people could happen at the ticket office to be fair John. It only needs one person to buy the ticket for other people. The only real way you can combat that is vigilant stewarding at the gates.
The only thing that would be worrying is theft of them. Maybe the early bird advertised in all the pubs and being able to order and pick them up at your local could work. That means you get the cheaper ticket and can pick them up on sat night or sunday lunch. That would mean you had satalite ticket offices across the borough.

I'd suggest the Centurion will be buying and paying for the tickets up front, with the option of returning any unsold ones for a refund post match, highly unlikely the LSV would let any tickets out without the money up front, so theft would be the pubs problem, not the clubs

Yes the the theft of tickets would be upto the pub but if the money was taken by the pub with an order cut off of lunch time saturday. The tickets could be delivered to the pub saturday or sunday and paid for by card reader at the pub or over the phone which would also give the delivery person added security of not holding cash or having little of it. Before the usuall suspects jump down my throat asking "who is going to deliver the tickets" my answer is "I don't know". Sorry in advance Andy Parky if the idea increases your workload but if I lived in Leigh I would gladly help.

Can you still get the discounted tickets from there on match days?

Either way, when we were in there quite a few people round us bought tickets to the game, maybe if this was replicated from other pubs we might start picking up a few other fans to games?
