Considering the amount of hype around him I was slightly underwhelmed by Russell last night. Not doubting he's an amazing talent and from what I keep hearing probably the best of all the youngsters on show but last night he only ever seemed to run sideways. Never really caused us any problems and when young Jonny Pownall broke the line he went round Russell without a finger laid on him, it was only Mellor tracking back that stopped the try. |

Get what you pay for but I've no complaints about the food are in there. The cooking of their steaks is usually pretty good as well. Not sure what that has to do with this thread, mind...! |

I agree (after watching the game 3 times) whilst Russell is no doubt a great talent he was forced to run sideways a lot by our defense and his team mates let him down on a number of occasions by not running for him for the simple drop-off ball, Chris Rowe was by far the best young player on display in last nights game, his work rate in both defense and attack was great. |

Leyther Matt,I met you last night and I need your help.
During the evening when supping a few pints in the Goose I mentioned to ian c that I had an old Leigh programme from the time when they had a very good team ( that tells you how old it is). (oh dear what have I said).
I told him he could have it and I have been trying to PM him to arrange to drop it off,but this PM buisness does not seem to be working for me. So I was wondering if someone on the Leigh board can ask Ian to PM me or give me Ians email so I can arrange something.
