And besides, the Leigh team are more familiar to me than the Salford side at present, what with all the ex-Reds you've got and the new signings we've made!

I have few expectations this year, just want to watch a team playing great RL and we have the playmakers to do that, the depth of props is the question but Bibey fit will be a real bonus.

Brierley has always shown touches of class in the games i have seen him, when he develops physically i think he will be ready for SL.

He'll certainly get some physical developememnt under Paul Rowley. Probably why Millward sent him here.

Without burdening him with undue pressure, He looks the business this lad.

You can see why he is assigned to a SL club and snapped up from an early age as well. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of him in a Leigh shirt this year.

Not very often i agree with Frankie B , but i to think we may have found a replacement for Ellis,in Ryan Brierley , this lad has speed , good hands , confidence , and a touch of Cockyness ( no harm there ),i like this lad , i know its early days , but the signs are very good .

I thought Gardner played well , along with Parker and Bibey ,and im not a fan of McGilvary but i thought he had a decent game , he started last season off well though , and petered out , hope he keeps it up , a good all round perfoemance , but lets see how we develope .

No 'oops' about it Linda like a lot of other players he had to go elsewhere because we had no player pathway as the RFL wouldn't allow us to run any teams below reserve team level at the time, thats why other teams jnrs are 'full' of Leythers
