Love the Six To Go rule - can really see a place for it in the game .. not sure at all about the Power Play - far too gimmicky

The 6 to go seems a good idea, keeps the game flowing.

The power play is just silly.

The other rule I would ike to see is, if you kick outside the forty and it goes dead then the tap should be from where it was kicked. That would keep the ball in play more. Someone on here said it and I think it's a great idea.

Don't like any of the rules, including the 6 to go. If the opposition knock on on their own line and you pick it up catching them off guard, with the current rule if they choose to lie on purposely you get the chance to take 2 points. With the proposed rule all that would happen is they would gain one extra tackle but with the defence set and ready rather than wrongfooted and off balance due to their mistake. They could just lie on constantly with no real punishment except one more tackle in the exact same spot but with more time to set a defensive line as the defence purposely slow down the play the ball. Awful rule.

The power play is stupid for obvious reasons, its gimmicky and just cr@p.

The 20/40 rule is also stupid, if you can't get out of your own 20 by the last tackle then your attack hasn't warranted a reprieve just because of a decent kick on the last. And the defence has also done a good job stopping the attacking team making ground and should be rewarded for that.

Hopefully none of them will be taken up.

Part of the reason for the 40/20 must be to create more space for the attacking team near its own line, e.g. the defending team need to leave players back to stop it......
