Firstly sir may I apologise for not remaining glued to the forum over the course of the evening, had to out for dinner I am afraid but we had a wonderful evening. My friends cooked some lovely crayfish followed by rib of beef with a wild mushroom sauce.
Some excellent wines from Burgundy each one cost more than a season ticket to watch Leigh this coming season. I did feel a little guilty to begin with knowing that you couldn’t afford a season ticket and there I was ing five times as much down the toilet.
Now where were we? Ah yes your paranoia, let us get this straight, if I was going to direct comments at you I would link/quote your previous comments or I would address the comments to you, for example – “Hi Tipster Ste I think you are a little paranoid, I know people have said you are an idiot and you may be a bit of a drama queen but not everything written on the forum is about you.”

True. Anybody putting a large wodge of money in, would solve our immediate problems.

However, that particular 'model' has been tried time and again at Leigh, and it hasn't worked, I'm afraid. So, I suggest that throwing more large sums at the problem, will not solve it, long term - it will merely add to it.

As for our two remaining directors, they HAVE put in large sums of money, and aren't prepared to chuck any more in. They remain at the club, to run the place and try to keep it going, until/if any new investors will come in.

Lets look at this and break it all down as no-one as yet seems to have done, and factor in the cc game might be at reduced price but that we dont acutally know yet.

North stand ST = £150 divide by 12 = £12.50 a game.

Pay on the day = £15 x 11 + £10 cc game = £175

Buy b4 thurs = £13 x 11 + £10 cc game = £153

So season ticket still the cheapest option ok only just but STILL the cheapest and if anyone is telling me that £12.50 a game is not value for money to watch OUR team then they need to get in the real world.

West stand works out the same ST = £170, on the day if cc cup game gets reduced to say £12 = £199 and b4 thurs = £177 so again season ticket the cheapest way to watch leigh in all games tjis season and ST works out at £14.16 a game in west stand again outstanding value imho. We dont have authur now to bail us out with cheap season tickets and ours were bound to go up this year and are now in line with fax and fevs ST prices for this season and its them we should be comparing ourselved too.

As we said it is good value for money and if we can afford we will be getting one, depends on whether or not our customers decided to pay us on time or not. If not we will buy the next best option which is a ticket pre bought every Thursday.

You clearly wrote in response to Starbug that Leigh Centurions could create alternative income streams by rattling buckets for dead relatives. Now I'd hazard a guess everyone has lost someone close to them so what was the point of your comment.

Incidently as for affording a season who said I can't afford one?? A sizeable personal investment went into the club last season and will probably continue.

Just as a side note , I presume these pre paid tickets can be bought for a number of weeks in advance of the matchday (Ie : You can buy one at a match 2 weeks before) ?

I don't think that's the case JENKY, just the week before unless i am mistaken.
