Hope you parked okay , we arrived in leigh at ten past 1 this afternoon , queued up for half an hour to be told the main car park was shut (as we expected by the way ) the steward then told us that we would get a space at pennington flash (as mentioned above) where we queued up for another 20 mins or so to recieve the message from a steward " the car park is ram packed, you can wait half an hour for a space if you want, you will have to try the local streets" by the time we found a space and walked from lowton high school it was 5 minutes till kick off ... is this one of the reasons why they dont get considered for super league ? was shocking . many people had the same problem as we did as they turned up 20 mins or so late..

It was always obvious this type of problem would occur. It's bad enough sometimes with the small crowds that Leigh get.

Bad design in the first place. Should have been designated parking in town centre with shuttle buses. Need more than one entrance to LSV.

Its no better at Warrington or Wigan in my experience.

I knew where to park to get in and out quick as I'm local but like anywhere else it's pot luck. 10,000 plus crowds are going to be a rarity at LSV. The car park near Sainsbury's was the best option I'd have thought if you couldn't get on LSV car parks.

Didn't know that I was just thinking in terms of the size of the attendance in relations to the facilities on hand lol!
