As an Oldham fan, I wouldnt want to see Tony Benson go. He`s a top bloke and would be greatly missed.

I quite like Tony to be honest, sooner have him then some names being branded about.

Its a strange game that can really divide opinions, but for me tony would be a massive mistake and backward step. Really nice guy but for me not a great coach, imo failed at leigh with the most talented ( although hard to control, which he didnt ) team we have had in recent years apart from maybe last year, and also failed at oldham to get them up despite having some really good teams at championship one level.

I doubt we are going to get a previously successful coach , more likely an untried or second/last chancer
