| I always thought that the Q&A following Keith Freer's statement, could be in danger of taking over the evening. However, that statement was a very important one, in that it was about the club's immediate future - without solving that one, we can't have the bright future that many of us envisage. Also, the Board and CEO want to foster the 'open' aspect of business - i.e there's nothing to hide - so to shut the first questioner up, might not have looked too good!
The gentleman in question probably asked a legitimate question, which was then answered honestly and succinctly. He should then have had the sense/grace to shut up and let someone else have a go. However, what he did succeed in doing was to alienate the entire audience, who eventually overwhelmed him.
Did we as presenters feel rushed? Absolutely, which is very frustrating when you have put in a lot of work - not just on the presentation, but on achieving the positive news that we were trying to put over. The most unfortunate presenter of the lot, was the guy who had to come last - John Hesketh. He came last, because he was locked in a meeting with the RFL, down the corridor, discussing Player Pathway Profiles. I have to say that this man has done some amazing work on the Player Pathway - a concept that will probably produce far more long-term benefits for Leigh Centurions, and the youth of the town, than all the rest of our projects put together. I hope he gets another chance to get his message across, perhaps in a 'less dry' way, because what he intends to achieve is incredible.

| Yeah I felt really sorry for him too. I don't think he even got the opportunity to do his full presentation.

If your refering to the fella talking about the player pathway, how many people in there understood most of his presentation? Good stuff by the way but people need to understand their audience and the audience need to understand what they are saying. Too many big words in long sentences.

He's aware of that now. In his defenceare impressed with big words!

| For those who sent in texts on the night, Trevor would like to apologise for not getting to answer them but as you know the evening was running over time. Anyway, here are the texts - and the answers1. When Arthur left, didn’t he say that our debts were sorted till the end of the season?[/size
We considered that there should be no mention of Arthur which could misconstrued as criticism bearing in mind the presentation to him on Friday night at the Park Inn. There was little debt when he went but over the following months payments out started to accrue.
[size2. Don’t bad mouth the RFL too much otherwise they won’t advance any money![/size
Point taken - we have a better relationship with the RFL than ever before.
[size3. So who’s fault is it that we are in so much debt? Time for the board to own up.[/size
Can you tell me how two open fans forums with the obvious transparency on show is any kind of a cover up? The fault or blame if it helps you deal with life, is not of the remnant board's making. It is pointless and unconstructive to comment further.
[size4. Can we get back to how the club has planned, is planning, to move forward?[/size
Hopefully what Keith said about the plan we have put forward shows that a lot of work has gone into making a sustainable plan. The four presentations from the PSG should demonstrate that we have a lot of positivity going forward.
[size5. Is the 70k debt to the players for Sept, Oct and Nov?[/size
Yes
[size6. What happened to the shirt sponsor we had sorted for the next two seasons?
[/size
It fell through unfortunately
[size7. Sell the programme online. Do a season’s subscription and sell individually. Create a smoking area outside ground during the match like other grounds do. Cheers Michael from London.[/size
Will have to think about this. We are loathe to sell he programme on line. More trouble than it is probably worth. It will the boost the advertising revenue from adverts which is probably best.
