I think many folk in Leigh won't be appearing on University Challenge any time soon but I think it's fair to say they've got enough about them to realise that, should they be so strapped for cash, they will save their money to watch Leigh on the Sunday rather than going to watch Swinton on the Friday because the money is burning a hole in their pocket.

For the bigger games. We could do what batley did last year against the catalans. Obviously you have to show a season ticket and you get dumped in west stand or east stand

Say Leigh s/t holders in for a fiver (for example) to Swinton 'home' games, and Swinton s/t holders in for a fiver at Leigh games? That could amount to moneies that neither club would otherwise get.

And by the same logic, none of us will be going to watch England v Wales, at our stadium, will we?

Swinton fans have been nomads for 20 years, this is no big deal for them!
