| Personally I don't see where it will ever come from unless the night in shining armour ever comes! Just too many things to compete against now! Trafford ctr/cinemas/fashion/new restaurants etc etc, just too many other options for kids/families rather than the option we can offer at the moment! Money breeds money simple as! And we need money to be able to attract the people back - sadly without it, the other options are just far too easy for some!

You're right, there are many other entertainment options and the challenge we face, is to attract people back to our option. The knight in shining armour isn't the answer, and he won't attract the punters in. In fact he tends to have the opposite effect, in that we all sit back and become complacent, instead of busting a gut to make things happen. (as while Arthur was in charge)
Steps are being taken to make things happen, from next season but, as we've said, the problem is, and always has been, more immediate.

Failure isn't an option , it has to be made to work , as long as there is 1 empty seat , you could have done more , has to be the mindset

| The Ainscough rumour was squashed by Trevor the other week in the LISA meeting (and was put on here), he also said that things were being looked at, but last weeks loss meant a lot not only on the field but massively off it and anyone thinking different was in cloud cuckoo land, things are desperate perhaps even more so now than ever before, but until things are finalised one way or the other there can be no news because there isn't any.

| I can't cope with all this why can't things run smooth for once ! just when i've got somebody interested in coming to watch Leigh next year as well ,my first thought when we lost last week was the money that we could have had not the fact that we didn't win if you know what I mean ,pig sick

| Quote WHERESYERBALL="WHERESYERBALL"Well am not really interested if anyone believes me i hope it isn't true my point is that the fans the people the club need the most as usual are told nowt.

| Apart from winning the prizemoney at the Grand Final what other financial benefit is there for gettig to the final?
Reading through the RFL Operational Rules clubs only receive "expenses" from all play-off games and the remainder goes to the RFL!!!!

Championship GF prize money is 50 K for winning , 30 K for losing , plus a few more commission for ticket sales and various other bits and pieces

| Quote Starbug="Starbug"As I suggested last week and Trevor has publicised , a gesture by the fans is needed , I will be donating what would have been the cost of my Championship GF ticket to LISA , I would ask others to consider the same'"
Where do we send this money as I will be doing the same plus the cost of my two pints and a progamme. I would have spent it anyway.
