While J20 purports to be an expert on Dave Woods perhaps I can type out some facts.
He guided Castleford to Super League in 2005,and a NRC Final but his contract was not renewed.That was all in one season.
In 2008 he guided Gateshead Thunder to National League 1 from National League 2 in his second season.He was then sacked and unable to coach his signings - Luke Branighan ; Andrew Henderson et al.
His efforts to go to an Employment Tribunal was thwarted by the owner liquidating the club.
Having gone to YCK midway through the 2010 season he guided them to The Championship and he has undergone the year he has.
