i think it would be a good idea to have a drummer, it would wake all the fans up and get them cheering our team on.ive never seen such a boring lot of fans at a ground like the lot in the west stand ,come on you leythers lets hear you sing for your team

I like 'em. Only in moderation. The drummer has to know when to use it and when to shut the **** up. When the team is in a bit of a rut and the crowd has gone quiet there is an arguement that a drum can lift the crowd into song/backing for the team. However, the over use of a drum can cause annoyance to a lot of people. The drummer needs to tap in to what works and what doesn't.

Put me down for a NO. I had the misfortune to sit 5 yards away from the pillock from Sheffield last week who brought his drum with him. Apparently he was at the South end of the West Stand in the first half but moved to the other end in the second half. He was noisy, aggravating and a pain in the a***

there were two of em in the first half sat underneath us

Sat right behind me in the second half. Though I don't want a Leigh drummer, he was great value, we had a good laugh and a banter with him. Think he's posted on the forum before too.
